Product Characteristics:
Pigment blue 1 can be soluble in hot water to blue. Easily soluble in ethanol to blue. Slightly soluble in cold water. Brownish yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid. Reddish yellow after dilution. The pigment aqueous solution is reddish brown when sodium hydroxide is added. Same chemical structure as C.I. Basic Blue 7.
