Among synthetic organic pigments, Pigment blue 60 is an alternative to green-tinted phthalocyanines. The red-blue hue of this pigment is unique. In terms of its properties, it is close to the red light of ε-CuPc, has excellent light resistance, weather resistance and solvent resistance, and high transparency, so it is comparable to phthalocyanine blue, but it is easier to wet.

Pigment Blue 60 Applications
Pigment blue 60 is a general-purpose pigment. It can be widely used in inks, coatings and plastics industries.
Blue 60 is highly recommended for Industrial paint, Powder coatings, Water deco paint, Auto paints, PVC, PP, Other platics.
When blue 60 is used in metal decorative paints such as automotive coatings, it is even more lightfast than CuPc. Blue PB60 still has excellent durability in diluted colors, but its tinting strength is lower than that of α-type CuPc.
Pigment blue 60 can also be used for plastic coloring, with a thermal stability of 300℃ per 5 min in polyolefins. Blue 60 has excellent migration resistance in soft PVC, and its light fastness is level 8.
Pigment Blue 60 is also used for high-end coinage inks.
