Water-based luminous powder is made of luminous oil-based powder coated with organic orthoethyl silicate, deacidified and deesterified, and then calcined at high temperature to become a dense inorganic silica coating layer. Since the silica coating layer is non-polar, Therefore, it can be used in water and oily systems at the same time, and it also has a waterproof effect

Production and QC process:

Put the oil-based luminous powder into the reaction kettle and add organic orthosilicate ethyl ester, deacidify and degrease it into inorganic silica and coat it into water-based luminous powder, then calcinate at 500 ° C, then crush and classify, then take samples for waterproof testing (Extreme environment test): Put the luminous powder sample into warm water at 60-70°C for about 3 days to test the pH value. If the pH value becomes high, it means that the waterproofing is not done well, the coating is unqualified, and the coating layer is damaged. If there is no change in pH value, the batch is qualified for storage.

Normally, after being mixed with the emulsion and left for a long time, when it is poured out, it has good fluidity like Acrylic emulsion, indicating that the coating is intact. But if the coating is damaged, it may be difficult to pour it out.

At present, at home and abroad, the production of luminous powder is mainly produced by 50KGS reactors, in order to control the quality of shipments. The coating reactor can produce 50KG water-based luminous powder in each batch, and 200 kg of goods are made by mixing 4 pots of 50 kg water-based luminous powder.
