Thermochromic pigment manufacturers take you to reveal the discoloration form of thermochromic powder

Thermochromic pigment is developed by micro-encapsulation technology. It adopts temperature sensitive microcapsules to encapsulate dye and enable color change by temperature rising or falling in a certain range. It can be used repeatedly. It can change color quickly and the color could be fresh and vivid. It has good solvent resistance and dispersion. The color change could be reversible or irreversible.
At first, base on reversible process, the pigment through shrinking and expanding of the microcapsules, it will change color by 3 ways:
1)It shows color by temperature rising and hides color by temperature falling.
2)It changes from one color to another.
3)It changes from colorful to colorless.
The basic temperature for temperature change 5℃, 10℃, 16℃, 31℃, 33℃, 43℃, 45℃, 50℃, 65℃. Discoloration can be achieved by two degrees above and below each basic color.
Then let’s focus on the irreversible color form below.
1)Irreversible Colorless to Color: At normal temperature, the pigment is colorless. When the temperature reaches 60 degrees and above, it changes from colorless to color, and will not become colorless when the temperature drops, this point is different from reversible pigment. But when the temperature reaches -20 degrees, the pigment will be colorless.
2)Irreversible Color to Colorless: At room temperature, the initial form of the powder is colored. When the temperature reaches 60 degrees, the powder changes from color to colorless, and when the temperature drops, the powder will maintain this color. But when the temperature reaches -15 degrees, the powder will return to the initial color state
