As one of the iSuoChem® rust preventive pigments, ZP002 zinc phosphate anti-corrosive pigment appears as colourless rhombohedral crystals or as a white microcrystalline powder.

The anions in zinc phosphate react with iron cations and can form a strong protective film dominated by iron phosphate.

This dense passivation film is insoluble in water, high hardness, strong adhesion, and can act with many metal ions to generate chromium compounds, with good rust prevention effect. The anti corrosive coatings made with zinc phosphate toner have excellent rust resistance performance.
