Properties

iSuoChem DF series fluorescent pigments is a kind of Solvent soluble type color essence (Solvent soluble toners) with good transparence, and high tinting strength. It can be completely dissolved in many kinds of solvent for formulating Flexo and gravure inks, and then this fluorescent ink can be applied to variety of Packaging materials like Packaging papers, Transparent films, Metal aluminium foil, plastics.

They are compatible with many binders, such as alcohol soluble with nitrocellulose, polyamide, polyurethane to form fluorescent inks.

Application of blue neon pigment

Application:

Solvent based: Gravure, Flexo inks, Paints, Industial inkjet inks.

DF Fluorescent soluble toners are transparent and should be printed on white stock or over a white ink to achieve the maximum fluorescent brightness.

Heatstability:

DF series Fluorescent pigment can be used for short dwell times in applications with processing temperatures up to 170°C without affecting the colouristic properties. The dwell time should be kept constant to avoid hue variations.

Due to the low softening point of DF Fluorescent pigments, in general, it is recommended to be stored in cool place to avoid caking.

RECOMMENDED FORMULA:

STEP 1---Solve DF Fluorescent pigments to make DF solution (Taking 100g DF pigment for example)

A, Anhydrous Ethyl alcohol<Anhydrous> -- 20g.

B, Ethylacetate -- 30g.

C, MEK -- 10g.

D, LNT pigment -- 40g.

A+B+C+D 100g DF solution.

STEP 2---Make DF solution to transparent ink (gravure or flexo)

A, Anhydrous Ethyl alcohol --10g

B, Ethylacetate -- 18g

C, Binder --20g
