Pearl Pigment For Cast Film

There are many methods of pearl film production. However, the use of pearl pigments in film production has certain requirements. The thickness of the film is generally very thin, and it is easy to be transparent or semi-transparent. An appropriate amount of opaque pigment and titanium dioxide must be added to achieve a certain coverage rate. In principle, when using pearl pigments, avoid adding the above-mentioned pigments to avoid affecting the pearl effect. This seems contradictory. In fact, when producing pearl films, a certain amount of titanium dioxide is often added in conjunction with pearl pigments to make up for the lack of film thickness. And because the film thickness is very thin, it is easy to arrange the pearl pigment flakes neatly and exert the pearl effect, but the concentration of pearl should be correspondingly increased, about 5-8%.
