In use, generally, the main problem reported by users is that the color of the Thermochromic pigment does not change.
So what is the reason?
The Thermochromic pigment does not change color. The main reason may be that the merchant gave the wrong temperature when buying materials. You thought it was more than 30 degrees. As a result, the merchant gave more than 40 degrees, so the Thermochromic pigment did not change color when it reached 30 degrees.
Another reason is that when using high-shear equipment such as internal mixers, kneaders, high-speed mixers, and twin-screw extruders to stir the Thermochromic pigment, the working parameters are not adjusted properly, which leads to discoloration of the equipment during processing. The protective layer of the pigment is destroyed. This situation will also make the Thermochromic color not change.
